Townes VS Alexander. Kidd532 15 years ago #1. Ok so I'm playing the challenge right now as generals Townes and I'm up against Alexander. This lady is kicking my ass! I had no trouble defeating the first 3 or 4 generals 'cause Townes has laser defense but they don't seem to work against Alexander's Air units.
Generals engine was outdated at release already. It's a soon 20 year old game (urgh..) and for that time it's acceptable. But not great. At a similar time "Act of War" was released and looks like a game released +5 years after generals. If you liked Generals, I can only recommend AoW since it has basically everything a C&C has.
Try to get the best way in where there are no base defenses that hit air. First take out all of the anti air units and use rocket pods on the war factory then take out dozers, barracks, whatever poses a threat. Meanwhile, at your base, get some defense up, a second dozer, and a raptor or two to take out chinooks.
